V&A Law Firm is looking for an experienced and precise Bookkeeper to become part of our expanding personal injury law practice. The perfect candidate will possess a background in legal finance, including the management of client trust accounts and the tracking of case-related expenses within a legal setting.

Primary Duties:

• Overseeing accounts payable and receivable processes.
• Performing reconciliations for both trust and operating bank accounts.
• Logging settlement amounts, client disbursements, and case costs.
• Collaborating with lawyers and support staff on matters involving client funds.
• Generating monthly financial statements and reports.
• Guaranteeing adherence to IOLTA rules and standard accounting principles.

Required Qualifications:

• At least two years of prior bookkeeping experience, with a preference for candidates who have worked in a law firm.
• Working knowledge of QuickBooks and the Microsoft Office suite.
• A solid grasp of legal billing procedures and trust account management.
• Superior organizational abilities and effective communication skills.
• A commitment to preserving confidentiality and ensuring data accuracy.
