Company Profile: A Non-Vessel Operating Common Carrier and Freight Forwarding Organization

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM until 3:30 PM, which includes a one-hour break for lunch.

Position Available: Part-Time Bookkeeper / Freight Cashier

Our team is looking to hire a part-time bookkeeper and freight cashier. This position involves providing support to the accounting team through the analysis of financial data, maintaining precise records for all payments received and issued, processing payroll, performing bank reconciliations, and completing other vital accounting duties. The perfect applicant will be exceptionally organized, possess strong numerical abilities, and have prior background in bookkeeping or accounting.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly spreadsheets and Microsoft Excel, along with familiarity with fundamental accounting software.
• Superior attention to detail, effective time management, and clear communication abilities.
• Capable of maintaining good communication with vendors, agents, colleagues, and clients.
