Recreation Leader - City Hall Front Desk

Compensation for this role ranges from $21.10 to $25.65 per hour. This position provides support to the Parks, Recreation and Community Services Department by acting as the primary front desk representative at City Hall. The standard schedule is Tuesday through Friday, from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM. Occasional additional hours may be needed for special events. Key duties involve:

• Answering general questions from the public.
• Assisting customers who visit in person.
• Managing department files and records.
• Handling daily cash transactions.
• Aiding with updates to the department website.

The successful applicant will possess outstanding customer service abilities and a keen eye for detail. This is primarily an office-based role. Proficiency in a second language is a desired qualification.

Facility Attendant - Rental Support

This position offers an hourly wage between $19.14 and $23.26. The attendant provides on-site support for facility rentals at the Veterans Hall, working under the PRCS Department. Primary responsibilities include:

• Opening and preparing the rental venue.
• Arranging tables and chairs as needed.
• Overseeing rental events during use.
• Delivering high-quality, on-site customer service.
• Cleaning and securing the facility after events conclude.

Work hours are variable, with most rentals scheduled for mornings and evenings on weekdays and throughout the day on weekends. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, capable of resolving issues promptly, and dedicated to excellent customer service. Bilingual skills are preferred.
