Job Purpose:
- To offer support across all administrative functions essential for the smooth operation of a medical practice.
- To sustain elevated productivity and provide effective support in achieving the practice\'s objectives.
Key Duties:
- Manage incoming telephone calls.
- Coordinate and schedule patient appointments.
- Welcome patients upon their arrival.
- Handle filing, document scanning, and general processing tasks.
- Record patient care services by accurately updating patient and departmental files.
- Manage patient accounts through the collection, documentation, and updating of patient information.
- Utilize strong organizational abilities to precisely file and locate patient records.
- Uphold patient privacy by safeguarding the confidentiality of all personal information.
- Organize office duties and physician requests based on medical priority.
- Adhere to practice protocols by thoroughly understanding and following established policies and procedures.
Required Skills:
- Competence in executing instructions provided by physicians.
- Aptitude for mastering both administrative and clinical duties within a medical office environment.
- Outstanding capabilities in both written and spoken communication.
- Exceptional organizational talents and a keen eye for detail.
- Proficiency in active listening and recognizing the value of comprehensive note-taking.
- Capacity to manage numerous tasks simultaneously while maintaining composure.
- Excellent time management and multitasking abilities.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Ability to perform data entry with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
