The IHSS Caregiver role is a part-time opportunity dedicated to offering vital assistance to a male patient with paralysis, specifically on weekend mornings. The individual in this position will carry out designated care duties, prioritize the patient\'s comfort and health, and adhere to pre-determined schedules. We are seeking a dependable person with prior caregiving experience and proficiency in operating specialized devices like a Hoyer lift.

Key Duties

• Deliver patient care on weekend mornings and evenings. The schedule is Saturdays and Sundays from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM, Saturday and Sunday nights from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM, and Thursday night from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM.
• Operate a manual Hoyer lift to safely transfer the patient between the bed and wheelchair.
• Help the patient with dressing, which includes applying compression socks.
• Provide support with toileting, showering, and a stretching regimen.
• Handle general tidying and laundry tasks.
• Prepare breakfast and clean up afterward.
