About the Venue
We are creating a distinctive, boutique event venue within a 1,700 square foot penthouse loft located in Downtown Los Angeles. The space offers open floor plans, abundant natural light, contemporary finishes, and is suitable for hosting a diverse range of small to medium-sized gatherings. Potential events include private dinners, photo shoots, pop-up shops, wellness classes, creative workshops, intimate social events, networking evenings, and more.

Role Summary
We are seeking a creative, dependable, and self-motivated Event Coordinator / Creative Lead to spearhead the development and monetization of this penthouse through thoughtfully curated events. This position is perfect for an individual with vision, solid administrative capabilities, and an entrepreneurial spirit.
This is a part-time, commission-based role offering significant growth potential for the right candidate. You will receive a percentage of the gross revenue from each event. Primary Responsibilities
Creative Development & Strategy
- Develop unique event concepts suited to the space (examples include paint-and-sip nights, small weddings, VIP dinners, brand activations, workshops, etc.).
- Curate event themes, layout designs, decoration concepts, and brand identity for the loft\'s event offerings.
- Contribute to shaping and evolving the penthouse\'s public brand as an event destination.
Planning & Operations
- Oversee event logistics, scheduling, and vendor coordination.
- Establish efficient processes for bookings, guest check-ins, cleanup, and daily operational tasks.
- Prepare the space before events and ensure it is restored afterward, maintaining a polished, photo-ready appearance at all times.
Administration & Client Relations
- Manage inquiries, messages, follow-up communication, and booking confirmations.
- Handle calendars, contracts, liability waivers, and correspondence with vendors.
- Deliver outstanding customer service to clients, guests, and partners.
Marketing & Brand Promotion
- Assist in creating venue listings, social media content, and event promotional materials.
- Manage or co-manage booking platforms (such as Peerspace, Instagram pages, or dedicated landing pages).
- A plus: capturing or coordinating simple photo and video content during events for marketing use.

Compensation Details
This is a part-time position compensated on a commission basis.
- You earn a percentage of the gross revenue from every event you plan, book, or help execute.
