Overview

Ace of Hearts Dog Rescue is seeking compassionate individuals to provide a temporary home for a large-breed dog during the holiday period (December 17 - January 10). This is a part-time foster role offering $300 per month in compensation. The ideal candidate has prior experience with dogs, is comfortable with large breeds, and can offer a quiet, single-pet household for a dog recovering from surgery.

Requirements

• Must be 21 years of age or older (with parental approval if under 21).
• Must be available to foster from December 17 through January 10.
• Must possess reliable transportation for veterinary appointments.
• Must be comfortable with large dog breeds (50-90 lbs). Cannot foster small dogs.
• Household must NOT include:
  • Children under 10 years of age.
  • Cats.
  • Other dogs.
• Must have prior approval from landlord/property manager and all household members.
• Prior experience handling dogs is required.

About the Dog

The current foster need is for Logan, a 3-year-old border collie/lab mix. He is awaiting leg surgery and has limited exercise capacity. He must be the only pet in the household.
