A liquor store situated in North Hills, California, is seeking a diligent and reliable individual to fill a combined stocker and cashier position.

Applicants must possess prior experience working as a cashier or in a convenience or liquor store environment.

Candidates must be at least 18 years of age.

Schedule

  • Saturday: 5:00 PM to 2:00 AM
  • Sunday: 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM

Responsibilities

  • Perform standard cashier tasks, including greeting patrons, processing sales, verifying identification for customers who appear under 30, and operating the register.
  • Replenish beverage supplies on store shelves and within walk-in refrigerators.
  • Monitor products for expiration dates.
  • Assist customers during the checkout procedure.
  • Maintain cleanliness standards both inside and outside the establishment.
  • Assist with inventory control and management.

Requirements

  • Mandatory previous cashier, convenience store, or liquor store experience.
  • Outstanding customer service abilities.
  • Neat and professional appearance.
  • Capability to work in a walk-in cooler at temperatures below 40 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • Ability to remain standing for extended durations.
  • Capacity to lift items weighing up to 40 pounds from floor level to waist height.
  • Must be a self-motivated worker who can perform tasks effectively with or without direct oversight.
  • Demonstrated reliability and punctuality.
  • Must have consistent transportation to and from work.
  • A strong and stable employment history.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is a significant advantage.
  • Availability to work on holidays as required.
