Position Overview

We are seeking a Maintenance Person or Handyman to provide services for two small hotels located in Solvang. These properties are owned and managed by a local couple.

Compensation

• The base pay rate is $22 per hour. Compensation may be higher, dependent on the candidate\'s skill set, relevant experience, and availability.

Schedule Requirements

• A minimum of 16 hours per week is required.
• A minimum of two consistent work days per week, scheduled from Sunday through Friday during standard business hours, is required.
• Additional consideration will be given to candidates with availability for on-call or emergency response outside of normal business hours.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Strong communication abilities.
• Proficiency in painting and drywall repair.
• Experience with the installation and repair of interior fixtures and furniture.
• Fundamental plumbing knowledge.
• Basic carpentry skills.
• Basic electrical skills.
• Elementary landscaping capabilities.
• Foundational customer service skills and a cooperative team attitude.
• Must be an English speaker.
