Retail Manager for Shopify and Social Media Platforms

Location: On-site in Downtown San Diego
Hours: Part-time, 20 to 25 hours weekly
Compensation: $22 per hour

Overview

We are a dynamic retail business in the beauty and fashion sectors, seeking an innovative Online Retail Manager to manage our Shopify storefronts and execute marketing initiatives. A genuine enthusiasm for fashion, social media, and creative content development is essential.

Requirements

• Professional Background: Minimum of two years in social media marketing and content generation, plus hands-on experience managing Shopify.
• Technical Abilities: Solid grasp of social media monetization and proficiency with video editing software (Final Cut Pro or Adobe Premiere).
• Digital Proficiency: Familiarity with SEO principles for Shopify platforms.
• Initiative: Capacity to work autonomously and manage one's own schedule efficiently.

Primary Duties

• Shopify Administration: Manage day-to-day site functions, add new inventory, implement SEO enhancements, and resolve technical issues.
• Email Campaigns: Design and distribute two compelling email newsletters weekly.
• Social Media Management: Produce high-caliber video content for TikTok and Instagram. Craft engaging storylines, oversee content publication, and administer paid promotions on Meta and TikTok.
• Team Collaboration: Partner with staff to refine personal branding strategies and broaden market reach.
