Retail Manager for Shopify and Social Media Platforms

Location: On-site in Downtown San Diego
Hours: Part-time, 20 to 25 hours weekly
Compensation: $22 per hour

We are a dynamic retail business operating both online and through a physical storefront, specializing in the beauty and fashion sectors. We are currently seeking an innovative Online Retail Manager to become part of our team.

Position Summary

In the role of Online Retail Manager, you will be responsible for the administration of our Shopify storefronts and the execution of our marketing initiatives. A genuine enthusiasm for fashion, social media, and creative content development is essential.

Primary Duties

• Shopify Administration (Required Experience): Manage day-to-day site functions, incorporate new inventory, implement SEO enhancements, and resolve technical website problems.
• Email Campaigns: Design and distribute two compelling email newsletters each week.
• Social Media Management: Produce high-caliber video material for TikTok and Instagram. Craft an engaging social media storyline, oversee content publication, and administer paid promotional efforts on Meta and TikTok.
• Team Collaboration: Partner with our staff to refine personal branding approaches and broaden our market reach.

Desired Qualifications

• Professional Background: Minimum of two years in social media marketing and content generation, alongside demonstrated hands-on experience managing Shopify.
• Technical Abilities: Solid grasp of social media monetization techniques and proficiency with video editing software such as Final Cut Pro or Adobe Premiere.
• Digital Proficiency: Familiarity with SEO principles as they apply to Shopify platforms.
• Initiative: Capacity to work autonomously and efficiently manage one\'s own schedule.
