Liposuction Training Seeks Patient Volunteers

The American Association of Aesthetic Medicine and Surgery (AAAMS) is looking for individuals to volunteer as patient models for a practical liposuction training session focused on the abdominal or back regions in the Los Angeles area.

Service Overview

Selected volunteers will receive a full liposuction procedure on the abdomen or back for a significantly reduced fee of $1,000 (standard rate $6,000). The procedure includes all materials, pharmaceuticals, and follow-up care, and is performed under local anesthesia with a typical recovery of several days.

Credentials & Experience

The training session is conducted under the direct supervision of Dr. Sam Assassa, M.D., a board-certified aesthetic medicine physician and an international instructor for AAAMS. All procedures are part of a monitored instructional course with a supervising physician present.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Must be 21 years of age or older.
  • Body Mass Index (BMI) must be between 25 and 35.
  • No significant underlying health problems.
  • No prior surgical treatments in the targeted area.
  • Must agree to sign medical consent forms and permit photographic documentation.
